Why It Is Important: Documents false claims by the leader of Hamas that Israel is trying to destroy the Al Aqsa Mosque. In the 6th paragraph it quotes the leader of Hamas as against a peaceful negotiation to settle land issues over Jerusalem: "Jerusalem belongs to its Arab inhabitants, Muslims and Christians. The future (of the city) will not be settled at the negotiating table but on the ground of confrontation and resistance"
